23-May-2009. Alcala de Henares. For our last day in Spain, we went to visit some family at a neighbor town. To my surprise, two great moments of history happened here. First, it it the birthplace of Cervantes. Second, it it is the place where Christophoro Columbus asked Queen Elizabeth for money to go to the West Indies and eventually discover America.
We spend the day mostly chatting and catching up with family, which we enjoyed a ton and are very greatful for having them.
